Privacy policy.

Last updated: October 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fascia ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses personal information through the fascia.com marketing website, including beta requests, optional surveys, collaboration and investor inquiries, and related communications (the "Services"). A cloud hosting provider runs this website. This policy does not describe data processing inside the separate Fascia application at app.fascia.com. If you use that application or another linked service, review the privacy information provided there.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

01Personal Information We Collect or Process

When we use the term "personal information," we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Personal information does not include information that is collected anonymously or that has been de-identified, so that it cannot identify or be reasonably linked to you. We may collect or process the following categories of personal information, including inferences drawn from this personal information, depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live, and as permitted or required by applicable law:

  • Contact details and beta requests including your email address, any name or other contact details you choose to provide, the page where you requested access, your consent to be contacted about the beta, and submission dates.
  • Survey responses including the answers you choose to submit and an email address when available. Responses may include information about your interests, body, or health if you choose to share it. A survey is optional; please avoid including medical records or unnecessary sensitive information.
  • Investor interest and verification information including your email address, first and most recent request dates, verification date, hashed verification codes and session tokens, expiration dates, and verification attempts. We retain an investor contact record separately from expiring codes and sessions, including requests that are not completed. After successful verification, we notify our team so we can follow up on investor interest. Requesting or verifying access does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter.
  • Form information including your name, organization, role, interests, and message where you provide them in a collaboration or investor inquiry. The current marketing website does not collect payment-card details or process purchases through these forms.
  • Communications with us including the information you include in communications with us, for example, when sending a customer support inquiry.
  • Device information including information about your device, browser, or network connection, your IP address, and other unique identifiers.
  • Usage information including information regarding your interaction with the Services, including how and when you interact with or navigate the Services.

02Personal Information Sources

We may collect personal information from the following sources:

  • Directly from you when you request beta access, complete an optional survey, request an investor access code, submit an inquiry, or otherwise communicate with us;
  • Automatically through the Services including from your device when you use our products or services or visit our websites, and through the use of cookies and similar technologies;
  • From our service providers including when we engage them to enable certain technology and when they collect or process your personal information on our behalf;
  • From third-party media services when you interact with externally hosted videos or follow external links, as described below.

03How We Use Your Personal Information

Depending on how you interact with us or which of the Services you use, we may use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Provide and Improve the Services. We use your information to review beta requests, acknowledge submissions, understand survey feedback, respond to collaboration and investor inquiries, verify investor email access, and improve our website and educational offering. Requesting beta access is not automatic approval.
  • Website Measurement and Communications. We measure website use and interactions to understand which pages, videos, and calls to action are useful. We send beta-request confirmations, investor access codes, and replies to inquiries. Any optional promotional communications are subject to your communication preferences and applicable law.
  • Security and Abuse Prevention. We use technical information and verification records to protect forms and email-code verification, limit repeated requests, investigate abuse, and secure our services. Please do not share your access codes or session information.
  • Communicating with You. We use your personal information to provide you with customer support, to be responsive to you, to provide effective services to you and to maintain our business relationship with you.
  • Legal Reasons. We use your personal information to comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process, including requests from law enforcement or government agencies, to investigate or participate in civil discovery, potential or actual litigation, or other adversarial legal proceedings, and to enforce or investigate potential violations of our terms or policies.

04How We Disclose Personal Information

In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes subject to this Privacy Policy. Such circumstances may include:

  • With providers supporting website hosting, databases, email delivery, security, and analytics, including our cloud hosting provider, Resend, PostHog, and Microsoft Clarity, as described below.
  • With our team to review beta requests, survey feedback, and inquiries. Beta requests and contact messages may also be delivered to our team inbox by email.
  • When you direct, request, or otherwise consent to a disclosure, including when you follow an external video or other link.
  • With our affiliates or otherwise within our corporate group.
  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or bankruptcy, to comply with any applicable legal obligations (including to respond to subpoenas, search warrants and similar requests), to enforce any applicable terms of service or policies, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.

05Hosting, Forms, and Email

A cloud hosting provider runs our website and provides database infrastructure. Submitted beta requests, survey responses, contact messages, and investor verification records are stored in our database. Resend processes recipient addresses and message content to deliver confirmations, access codes, and inquiry notifications. Information sent to our team inbox is also processed by our email provider. Learn more in the Resend Privacy Policy.

06Website Analytics and Microsoft Clarity

We use PostHog page views and fixed-label custom events on every fascia.com marketing page, including survey, welcome, investor, and archived pages, as described in the PostHog section above. Selected interactions include beta-button clicks, form starts, successful beta requests, intentional video clicks, and successful contact submissions. Custom events do not include names, email addresses, form answers, survey responses, or health information. Query strings and URL fragments are removed from analytics URL fields, and referrers are reduced to their origin. These metrics are independent of the Clarity choice. Cookieless does not mean no technical or usage information is transmitted. Hosting access logs are separate and may include technical request information such as IP addresses and requested URLs.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with selected public marketing pages through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. This helps us improve navigation, content, and usability. Clarity can process page content and layout, clicks, scrolling, device and browser information, and other technical usage information. Session replay reconstructs interactions with the webpage; it does not record your webcam or your computer screen outside this website.

Clarity is configured to load only on the homepage, How it works, and Seminars. It is not loaded on our beta-request, beta-survey, beta-welcome, Build with us, or Investors pages. Embedded form and confirmation regions on tracked pages are marked for masking before Clarity loads. We do not send form contents or visitor identities to Clarity as custom events or user identifiers.

Our current Clarity configuration sends denied signals for advertising storage and analytics storage, and default cookie setting is disabled in our Clarity project. Clarity therefore operates in a limited, cookieless mode; this does not mean that no usage data is collected or sent to Microsoft. Microsoft processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. For details, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

07Cookies, Browser Storage, and External Videos

Microsoft Clarity loads by default on the eligible public pages unless you have switched it off or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Loading the tag does not grant cookie consent: we continue to send denied advertising and analytics storage signals. Microsoft may limit collection and recordings where consent is required. Use “No thanks” in the notice or Cookie settings in the footer to disable Clarity. We remember a saved choice in a first-party preference cookie for 180 days. These controls do not disable PostHog analytics or external videos. For the storage inventory and provider details, see our Cookie Policy. Essential hosting and form processing are separate from Clarity.

The separate email-linked visit-source note is not covered by PostHog analytics or Clarity permission. Its existing consent requirement remains, so the Clarity-only controls do not enable new notes. Previously submitted notes may remain associated with beta requests and in team notifications; they contain only recognized source/medium labels, a public entry path, and capture time, not full URLs or survey answers. They are not sent to analytics vendors. Contact us to request deletion of submitted information.

We use a session cookie for investor email verification. The website also uses browser session storage to retain information such as a beta-request email address during the current browsing session. These functions are separate from Clarity analytics. Browser settings can restrict cookies, storage, or tracking requests, although some site features may then work differently.

External videos do not depend on the Clarity choice. Our pages may automatically stream Mux previews and load YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embedded player after a watch action. Preserved pages may use Shopify-hosted video files. The existing thumbnails and fonts are served locally. Ordinary external YouTube links remain available, and YouTube’s own privacy and cookie practices apply when you visit it. External providers may receive technical information, including your IP address and browser information, when a player or stream loads, and may use storage. Clarity's cookieless setting does not control these other providers. See the Mux Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.

08PostHog analytics

On every marketing page at https://fascia.com and https://www.fascia.com, we use PostHog to measure page views, structural clicks on links and buttons, and fixed-label beta-request, contact, and video events. It runs independently of the Clarity consent controls. Our integration uses memory-only persistence with browser persistence disabled, not analytics cookies, local storage, or session storage. Temporary anonymous identifiers are not retained across page loads. Although the separate Ask FASCIA service uses the same PostHog project, we do not identify marketing visitors or automatically join their marketing activity to Ask FASCIA accounts.

PostHog processes technical usage information, including page paths, browser/device information and the IP address accompanying requests to its US ingestion service. We strip query strings and fragments, reduce referrers to their origin, mask element text and attributes, and exclude forms and survey controls from autocapture. We do not send names, email addresses, form contents, survey answers, or signed access links to PostHog. PostHog session recording is disabled. Memory-only tracking still involves data collection; it is not a guarantee of anonymity or an exemption from applicable privacy laws. The Clarity buttons do not control PostHog. Browser privacy tools may block its requests. See the PostHog Privacy Policy and contact info@fascia.com to exercise applicable privacy rights.

10Children's Data

The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us using the contact details set out below to request that it be deleted. As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" (as those terms are defined in applicable law) personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

11Security and Retention of Your Information

Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security." In addition, any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.

How long we retain your personal information depends on why it was collected and whether we need it to review beta requests, understand survey feedback, respond to inquiries, secure the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce applicable policies. Verification codes and sessions expire; expiration does not by itself mean that every related database or email record has been deleted. You may contact us to request deletion, subject to applicable exceptions. Our providers may have their own retention periods for information they process.

12Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights listed below in relation to your personal information. However, these rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances and, in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law.

  • Right to Access / Know. You may have a right to request access to personal information that we hold about you.
  • Right to Delete. You may have a right to request that we delete personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to Correct. You may have a right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right of Portability. You may have a right to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to request that we transfer it to a third party, in certain circumstances and with certain exceptions.
  • Right to Object, Restrict Processing, or Opt Out. Depending on where you reside and the processing involved, you may have rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. Contact info@fascia.com to exercise applicable rights or ask about our practices. Our Clarity setup currently denies advertising and analytics storage by default; this setting is not a substitute for any rights available to you under applicable law.
  • Managing Communication Preferences. Contact info@fascia.com to ask us to stop optional promotional communications, or use an unsubscribe link where one is provided. We may still send non-promotional messages needed to respond to your request or provide a service you asked for, such as an investor access code.

You may exercise applicable rights by contacting info@fascia.com. Please describe your request and the email address you used with us. Do not include medical records, access codes, or unnecessary sensitive information in your request.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before we can process your requests, as permitted or required under applicable law. In accordance with applicable laws, you may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require that the agent provide proof you have authorized them to act on your behalf, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us. We will respond to your request in a timely manner as required under applicable law.

13Complaints

If you have complaints about how we process your personal information, please contact us using the contact details provided below. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to appeal our decision by contacting us using the contact details set out below, or lodge your complaint with your local data protection authority.

14International Transfers

Please note that we may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in.

Our hosting, email, analytics, and media providers may process information in the United States and other countries with different privacy laws from those where you live. International transfers are subject to applicable legal requirements. Contact us if you would like more information about the providers or safeguards relevant to your information.

15Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on this website, update the "Last updated" date and provide notice as required by applicable law.
