Cookie policy.

Last updated: October 25, 2026

This policy explains how Fascia Inc, a corporation registered in Delaware, United States, uses cookies and similar technologies on the fascia.com marketing website. It supplements our Privacy Policy. It does not cover the separate Fascia application or websites you visit through external links.

01Your choices

The notice controls Microsoft Clarity only, with equally accessible “Allow” and “No thanks” choices. Clarity loads by default on eligible public pages unless you have switched it off or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. You can also switch it off using Cookie settings in the footer. Loading the tag does not grant cookie consent; Microsoft may limit collection and recordings where consent is required. PostHog analytics, fixed-label custom events, and external videos are independent of this choice. Browsing, forms, and investor email verification do not require Clarity.

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your Clarity choice. Applying a changed permission reloads the current page so its network restrictions take effect; save or submit any unfinished work first. A preference applies to this browser on this host, not automatically to other devices or browsers. After 180 days, or if you clear the preference cookie, we ask again. If storage is blocked, Clarity remains blocked unless an existing valid preference permits it. Earlier analytics/video preferences are not carried forward as Clarity permission.

02Essential cookies and browser storage

PostHog analytics: We use PostHog on every marketing page at https://fascia.com and https://www.fascia.com, independently of the Clarity controls. It measures page views, structural clicks on links and buttons, and fixed-label beta, contact, and video events. PostHog is configured with memory-only persistence and browser persistence disabled: it does not set analytics cookies or use local or session storage for this integration. Its temporary anonymous identifier is not retained across page loads, so this integration does not reliably link visits across pages, devices, or to the separate Ask FASCIA service, even though the same PostHog project is used.

PostHog receives technical usage information, such as the page path, browser/device information, and the IP address accompanying network requests, through its US ingestion service. We remove query strings and fragments, strip referrers to their origin, mask element text and attributes, and exclude forms and survey controls from autocapture. We do not send names, emails, form contents, survey answers, or signed access links, and we do not identify visitors or enable PostHog session recording. This is still data collection, even without cookies. Our Clarity buttons do not enable or disable it. Browser privacy tools may block requests. See the PostHog Privacy Policy and contact info@fascia.com about applicable privacy rights.

fascia_investorfirst-party, HttpOnly session cookie, scoped to investor API routesMaintains access after you verify an investor email code. It contains a signed access token, not a plain-text email address.Up to seven days.
fx-emailbrowser session storageKeeps a submitted beta email available during the associated follow-up steps. It is not an analytics identifier.Current browser-tab session, subject to browser session-restoration behavior.
fx-survey-tokenbrowser session storageKeeps the signed beta-survey link available during follow-up steps so submitted answers can be matched to the correct request. The link permits answer submission, not reading applicant information. It is not used for analytics.Current browser-tab session, subject to browser session-restoration behavior. Keep the emailed link private.

These functions support requested features, security, and your privacy choices. Restricting essential storage in your browser can prevent access or form follow-up from working correctly. A cloud hosting provider runs our website, and our hosting and email providers also process information necessary to deliver and secure requests; rejecting Clarity does not prevent hosting, request logs, PostHog analytics, fraud prevention, or handling a form you submit.

03Website measurement

The separate email-linked visit-source note (fascia_visit_source_v1, at most 30 minutes in session storage) is not part of PostHog analytics. Its existing consent requirement remains; the Clarity-only controls do not grant that permission, so new notes are not collected by these controls. Previously submitted source notes may remain with beta requests and team notifications. They are not sent to analytics vendors.

PostHog measures page views and our fixed-label custom events measure actions such as beta-button clicks, successful submissions, and intentional video engagement on all marketing pages, including survey, welcome, investor, and archived pages. These metrics do not depend on the Clarity choice. Query strings and URL fragments are removed from analytics URL fields, and referrers are reduced to their origin. Custom events exclude names, email addresses, form answers, health information, and survey responses. Cookieless measurement still transmits technical and usage information; it is not a claim that no data is processed.

04Optional Microsoft Clarity

Microsoft Clarity loads by default unless switched off. It is limited to Home, How it works, and Seminars on the production marketing hosts, without query strings or private fragments. Form and confirmation regions are masked before loading. It is excluded from beta applications, surveys, contact and investor pages, archived pages, and preview hosts. Clarity is configured with denied advertising and analytics cookie-storage signals, with the project’s default cookies turned off; cookieless collection still sends interaction and technical data to Microsoft. “Allow” does not change those storage signals or grant cookie-storage permission. Microsoft’s regional consent requirements may limit recording functionality.

Clarity and analytics behavior can change as providers update their services; their settings and the actual browser behavior must be rechecked after material changes. We do not use an advertising-cookie category on this website.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, our controls keep Clarity off. PostHog analytics is independent of that signal in this site's consent controls. This does not claim to erase earlier information or change settings on providers’ own websites.

05External videos

The Clarity banner does not gate Mux previews, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embedded player, or video files on preserved pages hosted by Shopify’s CDN. Mux previews may stream automatically; YouTube players load after a watch action. These requests disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser information to the relevant provider. YouTube may use browser storage and process viewing information once its player loads or plays; privacy-enhanced mode is not a guarantee of zero storage or data collection. We do not control third-party storage lifetimes.

Existing thumbnails and web fonts are served from our own site rather than directly from image and font providers. Ordinary external links lead to the provider’s website, where that website’s policies apply.

06Changing or withdrawing permission

Rejecting or switching off Clarity prevents Clarity from loading after the page reloads, but does not stop PostHog analytics or external videos. It does not delete information already received by a provider or necessarily remove cookies/storage previously set by that provider on another domain. Your browser’s privacy controls can clear stored data; providers offer their own privacy controls. We cannot delete a third-party domain’s cookies through this website.
