What is fascia?
Fascia is the three-dimensional web of connective tissue that surrounds, connects, and supports every muscle, bone, organ, and cell in your body. When healthy, it glides freely. When restricted, through injury, stress, or prolonged sitting, it becomes tight, pulling on surrounding structures and creating pain that often appears far from its source.
Can fascia cause chronic pain?
Yes, it's one of the most underdiagnosed causes of persistent pain. Because fascia connects everything, a restriction in one area (like the hip) can create pain somewhere completely different (like the lower back or knee). Most chronic pain that doesn't respond to conventional treatment has a fascial component that was never directly addressed.
Can I release my own fascia at home?
Yes, and that's exactly what FASCIA is built to teach. Releasing your own fascia isn't just possible, it's the only way to get lasting results. No one can accumulate the hours in your tissue for you. With the right tools and approach, 15 minutes daily produces real, cumulative change no practitioner visit can replicate on your behalf.
Why does fascia get tight?
Fascia becomes restricted through injury, repetitive movement, prolonged sitting, emotional stress, dehydration, and inflammation. Because it responds to load and time, any sustained position, like sitting at a desk for eight hours, gradually trains your fascia into restriction. Releasing it takes sustained pressure: not stretching, not massage.
